PRIME MINISTER'S AGENDA AND SPEAKER OF THE HOUSE APPOINTMENT
Prime Minister Stuart has started his first press conference by celebrating the appointment of new shadow secretaries within His Majesty's Most Loyal Opposition, addressing that the choices the current Leader of the Opposition Apped made were of tremendous individuals.
Shortly after, the Prime Minister has shared the major points of his agenda for the week, where it started earlier today with a brief meeting with the Minister for the Cabinet Office irving524 due to topics that will be touched based among the rest of Cabinet Office soon. Additionally, the Prime Minister had a private meeting with the former Clerk of the House of Commons, TheHarveh, this in light of his most recent appointment as the Speaker of the House of Commons, where during this meeting the role was offered to him and accepted. During the rest of the week, the Prime Minister has shared he will have other meetings with different departments to assure government function. Such meetings are including Cabinet Office members, Foreign Office and more.
During the press conference, the former Speaker of the House, irving524, shared a few words celebrating the appointment of TheHarveh as his replacement. In his own words “I have no doubt that everyone has seen the effort both Harvey's have put forward to keep the big engine of democracy running”, “His passion for democracy and his tireless advocacy for legislation will undoubtedly make him an exceptional Speaker”.
