Clothing Policy

The Habbo United Kingdom prides itself on realism and professionalism. As such, this policy outlines in clear detail, what is expected of employees in terms of dress and bearing. As we are a government and political simulation, it is imperative that we align ourselves as accurately as possible with the traditions and policies of what we simulate  the United Kingdom. Therefore, dress codes and bearings will be strict in terms of acceptance.

General

All employees, regardless of iC, are required to dress professionally and smartly. This to ensure that we hold ourselves to the highest standards of acceptance and dress and bearing, and also to ensure that the image we give to the rest of Habbo is of a high calibre - exhibiting confidence, strength and success.

Males: all males are to be dressed in either suits or smart-casual attire.

Suit: includes the traditional blazer, smart shirt, long pants, and shoes. Ties are optional, and can depend on the type of shirt; whether it be cuffed or not, or buttoned or not; it must still maintain a professional look, however.
Smart-casual: Consists of formal attire, with a limited allowance for more casual items of clothing such as jeans and polo shirts, however this must not compromise the professionalism of the overall outfit.

Females: all females are to be dressed in smart-casual/business attire, which can also include a suit, skirts or slacks.

Smart-casual: Consists of formal attire, with a limited allowance for more casual items of clothing such as jeans and polo shirts, however this must not compromise the professionalism of the outfit overall.

Prohibited clothing items

The above can be used as a guide as to what is considered as professional attire and what is unacceptable and Habbo UK, anything that could be easily assumed as informal or in violation of policy, shouldn’t be worn. If you’re unsure about whether or not a certain item of clothing may or may not be compliant with our policy, consult with members of the Cabinet Office. (Formally OPM)

Hairstyles, headwear and colouring

Only a small minority of the standard hairstyles are entirely off limits, however natural hair colours must be observed in order to maintain the professionalism and authentic image of our establishment. In terms of headwear, it may only be worn where it can be reasonably considered as part of a formal outfit/business attire, please contact a member of the Cabinet Office if you require any further clarification as to which hats are deemed acceptable and which are not. Neon or otherwise unnatural colours may not be used for either clothing items or skin tones, once again this is a means of instilling a realistic and serious vibe into our organisation.

The images above demonstrate the few hairstyle choices which we refuse to accept at Habbo UK.
