WELCOME AND OPENING
Words from The Prime Minister:
Good evening everyone, thank you for attending the first meeting for the UK! Welcome to our new members, we are glad to have you on board. Things are progressing nicely so thank you to everyone that has put time into getting this organisation up off the ground. A special thanks to Owen for developing the site. It is looking amazing and I look forward to seeing it fully functional. If you run into any access issues or bugs please notify myself, our Chief of Staff Hexal or a member of the Royal Family. We have a number of laws written and ready to go so you can expect an announcement in the next few days when His Majesty signs them officially bringing them into force! A reminder to any new members that your profile and last online time are required to be public and if during our regular checks of the badges we are unable to check your profile, your access to HQ and the server may be restricted until it has been changed. If you have questions about your tasks during this initial set up stage please chat with your leadership. We all need to be working together to get things up and running, teamwork is essential! OPM will be over the next couple of days assigning some tasks that will need to be completed before we open. We are looking to open to the public towards the end of this month so if you need help getting things finalised please contact OPM through your designated channels on the server.

Yes, the site is currently open for leadership to register.

Have we established a date for opening events?
Answer from Prime Minister zanetheraptor:
As of now, we are aiming for the 20th of this month. This may change as we work out the final details but that is the current date that we intend to open.
Follow-up question from SoS, FCDA EpicMorilecrime:
The ball and such events will be around that date?
Answer from Chief of Staff Hexal:
That’s the date we’re looking to hold the opening ceremony.

Will the opening ceremony and relevant events require any sort of protection detail from MI5?

Yes we would like to see the MI5 covering the protection detail of the opening ceremony. We will reach out.

Do we have a pay system? If so, what is it?
Answer from His Majesty The King Terrorization:
Pay scale will be determined weekly by duty quotas throughout our site. Weekly pay, based on completion of tasks, and your participation at duty stations. It will run off points, and the points-to-coins scale is something HM Treasury needs to work on. That scale will then be determined, and released internally.

How do we request room rights if someone is trolling?
Answer from Chief of Staff Hexal:
You would request "room-rights" on discord. Who the person is, and the room rights personnel will deal with it.

To add to the last question on room rights, I do not see the visible channel for requesting them.

It's currently disabled due to us not being officially open. The channel will resume its functions once we are open.

Words from His Majesty, The King Terrorizazion:
I am delighted to echo the Chief of Staff's comments, activity has been quite strong lately, my only advice, don't burn yourselves out before opening, we want to maintain our momentum to get things off the ground strong. Thank you to all of you who have put in extra time and effort into your various offices and continued leadership. I am hoping to have some celebrations for your efforts after the first week of opening, or soon thereafter. With regards to the site, once we have all senior personnel registered, we will open the site and update the database for everyone to join. The website will act as our most critical piece of infrastructure and global communication. Likewise, the room rights channel idea will be debated and perhaps a ticket system will be implemented. I'd also like to encourage everyone, regardless of rank, to utilise your chain of command for any ideas, comments, or questions. As this is an issue we've faced before, your leaders are there to serve you. With that being said, this was an intro to the House, structure of these debates,or Prime Minister Questions will be more regulated in real practise and perhaps a course for how to debate/ask questions in the House can be implemented as well in the future. So far through, it's been a strong start even just here and I'm not supposed to be presiding over this. The UK has a strong base and foundation now and opening is growing sooner, I expect everyone to be on their A-Game when it does happen and I look forward to working with all of you as well. Even those in the Chamber I've not had the pleasure to personally meet yet.
